This help center explains what each instructor workflow does, where to find it, and how to complete it.

Start with the product map

Product map and navigation explains the global, course, and exam navigation levels and identifies which roles can see each workspace. Terms and states defines words such as draft, published version, canonical version, packet, accepted response, provisional, and released.

Standard instructor workflow

  1. Create a course and complete guided setup.
  2. Import or maintain the roster.
  3. Author or import an exam draft.
  4. Compile, review, and publish a read-only version.
  5. Print master, numbered, or named packets.
  6. Upload scans and resolve matching or duplicate-work issues.
  7. Publish rubrics and finalize free-response grading, and set keys and review recorded answers for True/False or multiple-choice questions.
  8. Preview and release student reports or export grades.

Course access and configuration

  • Access and roles covers course ownership, instructor and grader access, question assignments, identity visibility, and invitations.
  • Configure AI features covers course agents, grading policy, and reviewing AI-assisted results.
  • Exam Drop conversion service covers staff-assisted source conversion, email verification, prepared packet downloads, and claiming the result into a course.
  • Account and support covers sign-in, verification, email preferences, report links, and support routes.
